Testimonials
For many years I've had a passion for micro photography of plants and insects. My photos are amateur but the real fun is in unique perspectives of the plants and critters. It is a process rather than a product.

A couple of years ago my wife, an illustrator, came back from a visit to Green Spring Gardens greatly impressed with photographs she'd seen on display. "I saw a very gifted photographer doing just what you've long enjoyed. She is great!—the work is beautiful—you will really be impressed!"

I went to see and Ann was right, she is great. I met Cindy and viewed her many beautiful prints on display; couldn't get enough of them. I immersed myself in her website and realized here was a gift I could utilize in my role as an art director/designer for the USPS Stamp Development department. It was obvious to USPS and my fellow art directors that we had discovered a valuable resource—an artist whose photographic skill naturally lends itself to the small and demanding medium of postage stamps and that her talent as a graphic designer/photographer made her approach well suited for stamp design.

This year, with the publishing of her Fern Stamp series, that collaboration flowered—pun intended. There are other stamps of Cindy's to come and I'm confident they will prove very popular with the public as well as stamp collectors.

Cindy is a wonderful composite of artist, designer and photographer with an intuitive gift, perfected by a lot of creative application of that gift. It has been my pleasure to introduce her to stamp design and to work with her on several stamp issues.

"Cindy’s photography talents are simply put, amazing. She can painstakenly capture the personality of an individual in a single headshot, having never met the person before, and in a matter of a few minutes. That to me proves pure talent and perception. Cindy is our company photographer, and because of the nature of the details required in a home remodel, we are very picky about our photos. Shooting interior shots requires a whole different talent, from the necessary lighting to the space limitations, to the homeowners belongings. Not surprisingly, Cindy has exceeded our expectations by capturing the true space; the details, the angles, the ‘feel’. I am in awe of what she sees and captures behind the lens that most of us would just take for granted. The beauty of a single insect retrieving pollen from a single flower, so clear and crisp, to the sunset in the picturesque distance. She is such a talented photographer."

Cindy Dyer knows what I want even before I do. Her design approach with our magazine compels readers to dive into the content. In addition to her design skills, she is a photographer who makes covers and feature articles come alive with special photo shoots. Cindy knows the industry and the latest trends. Words to describe Cindy Dyer: creative, reliable, high-energy, resourceful, and fun to work with.”

—Barbara Kelley, Deputy Executive Director and Editor-in-Chief, Hearing Loss Magazine, Hearing Loss Association of America, Bethesda, MD

“Children & Families magazine would not be the same without Cindy’s wonderful photography! She never fails to give us captivating, natural and beautiful shots of children…we have a hard time choosing! She is very creative and follows suggestions well.”

—Camilla Houghton, Creative Director, Estasi Design Associates, Sarasota, FL

“It only takes a few minutes with Cindy to see the positive characteristics she brings to the table. Great enthusiasm. Pride in her work.
Dedication to the goal of providing a product that completely satisfies the client. Wonderful creativity. She inspires immediate trust and she
continually proves how well deserved that trust is. But be aware, if your Christmas card mailing list is already too long, spend much time
with Cindy and you’ll find yourself adding a new name to the list (and smiling in spite of yourself). You have been warned.”

—Jefferson Evans, Evans Brothers Art and Images, Alexandria, VA

“We hired Dyer Design to step in and complete a project that had floundered at another design firm. Cindy took the time to understand our
needs, time frame, and concept. She was so attuned to the program we were marketing and our unique audience that she took an original
photograph to appear on the brochure cover—ensuring its original look and feel.”

—Nancy O’Liddy, Director of Public Affairs and Mktg., Truckload Carriers Association, Alexandria, VA

“There are few artists who can truly capture and enhance the spirit of the person seated before them. Cindy is such an artist. Whether
creating a formal portrait or an impromptu snapshot, she captures her subjects beautifully. I strongly recommend Cindy Dyer to anyone
seeking a first rate photographer.”

—Bruce A. Noble, Q.C., former President, International Municipal Lawyers Association, Washington, D.C.

"Cindy has an amazing ability to capture the beauty that is often missed by the naked eye. She has photographed several tea parties for me and her work in capturing the details of the food, place settings, people and atmosphere is stunning. She moves with grace and ease around guests without being a disruption to any event. Her portrait photography is so striking. She has the ability to bring out the best qualities and features in a personal portrait and she completely puts her subjects at ease.”
